The most popular drink in Morocco is mint tea. Everyone knows about it and loves it, but making good it remains a challange for some people.
For Moroccans, mint tea is more than cup of tea, itis a symbole of hospitality. Moreover ;it’s important as earl grey is for the British and green tea is for the Chinese. It can be made with different herbs such as sage, thyme, absinthe, chamomile, and so on, especially in winter. Sometimes we even mix different flavors at the same time.
The ingredients are fresh mint, sugar, water and dried leaves of greaen tea. Gunpowder tea is a type of green Chinese tea in which each leaf has been rolled into a small round pellet. When the round pellets are hydrated they become surprisingly large, take a look it, it’s fun !
